UC in our community

Visiting people in the community.

Visitation request forms are available in the foyer of all our our Churches.  If you would like to be visited, or know of someone who who should be visited, either by the Minister, an Elder or someone else, please fill out these forms and hand them in with the offering.

Sometimes need a ride to Church?

A list of alternative phone numbers has been prepared for those people who currently get a ride to church each week.  If for some reason the person who normally brings you to church cannot provide transport for you, then you can ring one of the people on the list and arrange for them to pick you up.  If you do not already have a list of these numbers, please see one of the Stewards.

.
Catering for funerals

We can provide light refreshments for funerals held at one of our churches. Please contact the Minister for details.

To assist with catering for funerals, we would like to have a list of people who can help with cooking and/or help to prepare and serve at the funeral. If you can assist in this way, please let the Minister know and you will be put in touch with the right people.

.

Food Cupboard
From time to time congregation members donate food items to stock a food cupboard for those in the community with emergency food needs. Simply buy some additional non-perishable items when doing your weekly shopping and leave them in the upstairs church foyer.

.

Hall Hire
Both our  halls are available for hire to groups that conduct activities compatible with our Christian beliefs.  For hall bookings and enquiries please contact us.
